Teacher shares wisdom in children's book
      A former marine biology teacher at Gulf Breeze High School had a book signing last Saturday, Oct. 18 at Geronimo's Outpost on Pensacola beach. Mary Easley, who taught at the high school from 1989-2007, signed copies of her recently published children's book "Flutter the Flounder.

      I don't know about you, but when I go to the grocery store to buy milk, I always look for the expiration date by which time the milk should be sold. I always look for the latest date. There are other items in addition to milk that carry expiration dates, such as medicines and perishable items.

      Friday, Oct. 24 PBES Fall Festival, 5-8 p.m. at Pensacola Beach Elementary School An old fashioned carnival featuring food from plus popcorn, cotton candy, and a cake walk. There will be carnival games such as a ring toss, bottle toss, football throw and more. There will be face painting and live entertainment for the young and young at heart.
