Resort Realty's Jurkowich gets marketing award

speaker and REALTOR.com Vice President Max Pigman presented the award which recognizes top agents who consistently provide great marketing services on behalf of their buyers and sellers.

"There are always some real estate agents who distinguish themselves from other agents by doing a little more for their sellers," Pigman said. " In particular; when the home they are selling is placed on a well-trafficked site such as the topranked REALTOR.com(r),1 even simple efforts like having more photos displayed, crafting better descriptions or adding a full motion video, can make a home stand out from competing properties.

The award was presented to Jurkowich at a recent real estate marketing and technology seminar that demonstrated cuttingedge techniques for leveraging the Internet and technology in real estate marketing.

"My seller clients appreciate how I can help bring more attention to the unique selling attributes of their property and ultimately help attract more qualified buyers," Jurkowich said. "Buyers are also appreciative of a well-presented home that has a better description and more ways to learn about the property before arranging an appointment.

Vaughan joins Fiesta as PR coordinator

Whitney Vaughan has joined the Fiesta of Five Flags Association as the Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator.

She is responsible for managing all public relations activities and marketing as it pertains to all official events of the Fiesta organization.

Vaughan Prior to joining Fiesta, Vaughan began her career in the government sector at the West Florida Regional Planning Council, and previously interned at the Escambia County Office of Public Information through Internship Pensacola.

She graduated from the University of West Florida with a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in public administration. Vaughan is Secretary for the Florida Public Relations Association, Pensacola Chapter, and is an active member of the Pensacola Young Professionals.
