Moms in Touch set Thursday gatherings Moms in Touch is an interdenominational organization where moms gather together to pray for their children and schools. Moms will experience how to replace anxiety and fear with peace and joy by praying specifically and scripturally for their kids. Meetings are each Thursday morning from 9-10 a.m. in the Gulf Breeze Methodist Chapel on Fairpoint Drive. The Active Young Adults Ministry for ages 18-25 will kick off its fall season on the beach Friday, Sept. 5, at 6 p.m. In subsequent meetings through Oct. 31, the group will meet at 7 p.m. in the Reception Hall for fellowship, games, food, worship and a look at how to share your faith. St. Ann Catholic The annual St. Ann "People 4 People 5K Run/Walk 2008 and Pancake Breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Parish. Exercise, compete and have fun running or walking through Gulf Breeze with proceeds benefiting Church ministries and local charities. After the run, enjoy fellowship at the post-race pancake breakfast, awards ceremony, and door prizes. Race applications are available at the church office, the narthex and area fitness clubs and athletic stores or on-line registration is available at www.active.com. Volunteers are also needed. Midway House of Faith A free concert of gospel singing is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6 at the Midway House of Faith located at the corner of U.S. Highway 98 and Woodlawn Beach Road.
