Hug-a-Bears help kids become healthy, happy
      The Gulf Breeze Hospital Auxiliary makes Hug-a-Bears for children who have to come to the Emergency Room at Gulf Breeze Hospital for some kind of treatment or procedure. The program began at Gulf Breeze Hospital about seven years ago under the leadership of then-volunteer Irene Shields but has been continued under the direction of Janet Slaughter for the past five years.
