BEA GALLOWAY

1928-2008

After a 30-year battle with Lupus and related conditions, Beatrice Stone Galloway is at rest in the arms of our Lord.

Galloway was born in Pensacola and resided in Gulf Breeze since 1959. She graduated from Tate High School and was proud of her service as a Junior Air Raid Warden during World War II.

Her life was one of love and service to others. She was a Grey Lady, Nurses' Aide, and classroom volunteer. A longtime member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, Galloway served as Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher, MYF chaperone, and Stephen Minister.

She leaves behind her beloved daughter, Sharon, as she joins her sweet "Tessa" on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

Life with Bea was always an adventure, and her parting words were, "It's been a terrific ride!"

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27.
