Why Me?
      I love my favorite watering hole on the island. While I only seem to get there about three times a month, things never seem to change there. I won't tell you which one it is, because I don't like to talk to people when I go there. I sit, listen and drink. When I can see the end of my nose, I leave.

Portofino owners lose tax lawsuit

Sample ballots being mailed to Escambia voters
Early voting underway
      Escambia County Supervisor of Elections David H. Stafford announced hat a sample ballot for the August 26 Primary Election is being mailed this week to all Escambia County voters eligible to vote in the election. In 34 of our 90 precincts, voters registered as No Party Affiliation (NPA) or in a minor party will have no races or contests to vote on.
