GBUMC to bless backpacks
FAITH
Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church will hold the Blessing of the Backpacks on both campuses Sunday, Aug. 17. All children can bring their backpacks to church with them and together they will pray for one another as they start this school year. Each child will also receive a small gift. The Blessing will be held at 9:30 and 11 a.m. services at the Fairpoint Campus, and at 9 and 10:30 a.m. at the Soundside Campus. Kindermusik Classes for children ages birth to 4 years of age will begin Aug. 25. Kindermusik is an internationally recognized music and movement curriculum for children and promotes the development of the whole child. Singing, moving, instruments, listening, group activity, lots of fun, and much more. Led by Rachael Hyer, this semester promises to be the best ever. Call soon at 932-3594 for open house information or to enroll. Children and youth choirs will begin in September.
