Exciting week concludes with Blue Angels practice

During the Red, White and Blues week on Pensacola Beach, the Navy's Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, will amaze fans with their exhilarating aerobatic maneuvers.

The week kicks off with the Blues flying Circle and Arrival maneuvers at 8 a.m. on Wednesday and continues with a practice session at 2 p.m. on Thursday. The full dress rehearsal begins at noon on Friday.

The main event, the Pensacola Beach Air Show, starts at noon on Saturday, July 12.

WWE, ECW visit Civic Center

Professional wrestling makes a stop on the Emerald Coast this weekend.

WWE Smackdown & ECW are slamming into The Pensacola Civic Center on Sunday, July 6th. The premier professional wrestlers of WWE are back and ready to make the event the rumble of the summer. Featuring all of your favorite Smackdown and ECW superstars, ncluding: Batista, Big Show, Great Kali, M.V.P., Mark Henry, Kane and many more! (card subject to change).

An Evenings favorite, The Reunion Band returns to Olde Seville Square to prove "You're Never Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll" to their groovy '60s and '70s covers from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 3. This concert is sponsored by International Paper.

Put on your dancing shoes as this talented seven-piece band is sure to get the crowd out of their chairs and up on their feet with such hits as "Mustang Sally" and "Pretty Woman." Band members for The Reunion Band include lead singers Bill Harrell and Charlyne Kilpatrick, Hank Bell on lead guitar, Ed Nickinson on guitar and vocals, Ross Orenstein on keyboard, Dave White on bass, and Larry Northup on drums.

The concert series continues with a special 450th Celebration featuring the Pensacola Civic Band and The Mobile Pops on July 10.

Mass Konfuzion performs at Summer Serenade

Mass Kunfuzion Sextet, a contemporary band, will perform as part of the Third Annual Summer Serenade at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church on Wednesday July 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Mass Kunfuzion began as a group from St. Paul's Catholic Church. Founding members are Steve Hernandez, drums and Dave Clark, bass. Other members of the group include Tom Baroco, keyboard; Mike Vogel, guitar and vocals; Mark Whibbs, congas; and Angela Baroco, vocals.

" We welcome the community to come and help us celebrate a wide diversity of music. This is part of our outreach program," Rev. Eric Long, Assistant Rector at St. Christopher's said. "There is plenty of parking around the church, and we have a spacious lawn, ideal for a concert series such as this. Of course, we can move inside the parish hall if the weather requires."

Exploreum showing two new IMAX films

The Gulf Coast Exploreum, located in Mobile, added two IMAX films to its summer lineup. The conservation concious films are titled 'Hurricane on the Bayou' and 'Amazon.'

A powerfully moving IMAX film unlike any other, Hurricane on the Bayou carries audiences on a journey deep into the soul-stirring heart of Louisiana - before, during and after the unprecedented devastation of Hurricane Katrina. The film will be showing through November 2.

The Amazon is the mightiest river in the world. In this film, audiences will embark on a journey of discovery of the river's wonders, inhabitants and remarkable healing powers.
