      Three local middle school students are in Washington D.C. this week competing in this week's National History Fair. Recent Woodlawn Beach Middle grads Michael Barbee and Jack Millward are in the Junior Group Documentary category, while GBMS grad Nathan Gupta is in the Junior Individual Exhibit category.

      Gulf Breeze Arts, Inc., recently donated $4,500 to four local schools, and the money should come as a welcome gift since Santa Rosa County schools are facing budget cuts that could eliminate elective programs, such as arts.

GBHS releases fourth nine weeks Honor Roll
      Mr. Sylvan Ladner, principal of Gulf Breeze High School, is pleased to announce the Honor Roll for the fourth nine-weeks grading period of the 2007-08 school year. To be included on the "A" Honor Roll a student must have received a nine-weeks grade of 90 or higher in each subject.
