Red Cross relief budget in dire need of help
      The American Red Cross reports that its Disaster Relief Budget has dwindled to just more than $6,000 after 17 recent house fires in the area strained its resources. Emergency food, clothing and shelter were just some of the services provided.

Authorities investigate bank robberies
      Santa Rosa County financial institutions continue to be the target of criminals. At approximately 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, a white male entered the First National Bank at the corner of U.S. Highway 98 and Rosewood Drive in Navarre, pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at a teller and demanded money.
