Rice University sophomore Katie Dollinger (GBHS Class of '06) helped the Lady Owls repeat as Conference USA Champs at the 2008 Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 15-17 in El Paso, Texas. Dollinger was third in her flight in the shot put and was 13th overall (42 feet, 3.25 inches). She was fifth in her flight in the discus and 14th overall (137-4). More ... Gulf Breeze Ford honored a group of GBHS athletes last week at the high school. This sports writer was tasked by Gulf Breeze Ford to submit an Athlete of the Week every week during the 2007-08 school year.
