National Seashore to offer Jr. life guard program
      Gulf Islands National Seashore is recruiting young men and women, ages 12-15, to be a part of the 2008 Junior Lifeguard Program. The program will be similar to the "Junior Ranger Program," but with an emphasis on physical fitness, water safety and rescue and marine resources conservation.

'Moore Safe Shores' to present new 4-wheel drive trucks Friday
      Pete Moore Chevrolet will present two new Chevy Colorado 4 Wheel Drive Rescue Vehicles to Bob West of the Santa Rosa Island Authority on Friday at 11 a.m . at the Casino Beach area on Pensacola Beach. These vehicles are part of the "Moore Safe Shores" program which is a multi-level beach safety campaign that Pete Moore Chevrolet and WEAR ABC-3 originated in April of 2004.

      No Time To Waist Fitness launches 'Fit In 5' program No Time to Waist Fitness, an at-home personal training program, announces its five-week indoor fitness boot camp - "Fit in 5." Fit in 5 will take place at Center Stage Ballroom, 5000 North Davis Highway near the intersection of Brent Lane. Camp sessions will take place from June 2 to July 3 and July 8 through Aug. 8.
