Coach Chris Nemith is hoping that history can repeat itself. When Nemith took the football head coaching job in April 2003, the program was as low as it could get. That 2003 team came in after going 0-10 the year before and as the old movie goes, they were mad as hell and not going to take it anymore. The result was the team's fifth playoff berth in school history. More ... Rhodes College sophomore Kim Tryon (GBHS Class of '06) recently helped the Lady Lynx track team win the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Tryon won the pole vault (10 feet) and was second in the triple jump (34 feet, seven inches). More ... He squatted 565 pounds, bench pressed 475 pounds and dead lifted 575 pounds for a total of 1,615 pounds.
