Georgia man drowns on Pensacola Beach
Drowning breaks 3-year safety streak
      One group of students' spring break trip to Pensacola Beach ended in tragedy as one of the visitors drowned Saturday afternoon, March 15. According to The Athens Banner-Herald, the man has been identified as Bijal Patel, a 27-year-old doctoral student at the University of Georgia.

Crowds crawl for St. Pat's
      While Paddy O'Leary's Irish Pub served the crowds pints of tinted green beer and Guinness and hosted St. Patrick himself, other revelers on Pensacola Beach gathered for the traditional St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl, moving from the Sabine Sandbar to Sidelines, Crab's, The Dock, Sandshaker, then back to the Sabine Sandbar and ending at the Elk's Lodge.
