The Navarre Raiders scored six in the first two innings of an 8-5 win at Gulf Breeze Friday. Several Gulf Breeze based team won their age divisions at the fifth annual Gulf Breeze Sports Association's Preseason Classic March 2 at Shoreline Park. The U14 Dolphins won the 13-14 year old boys division, beating the Navarre Heaters 13-6. More ... The local chapter of the Florida Sportsman Club is looking for hunters for the upcoming season. A limited number of memberships for the 2008 dove hunting season are available at a cost of $265. Hunters under the age of 16 pay only $35 and shooters between ages 16-21 are only $60. More ... Gulf Breeze Middle held its annual Optimist Oratorical contest in their library February 26. Five boys and six girls competed in the school finals. The title for the GBMS contest was: "Why me?
