Getting old
      I know that I am getting older. I know that is a good thing when you consider the alternative. I know that I am getting more "needy" and I hate being alone now more than I ever have. After my first marriage of 21 years fell apart, I enjoyed being alone for 17 years. I liked myself and I could be alone with out being lonely. There is a difference, you know?

      The East Coast Surfing Association Tournament is Saturday, Feb. 16 from 7a.m. until 4 p.m. on Pensacola Beach. If necessary, the backup day is Sunday, Feb. 17.

      Today, our mail boxes, email boxes, will contain cards, notes, and letters filled with words of love. Attention getter
     This 1999 blue Corvette, owned by Leah Pittman, was getting lots of attention Saturday at the ABATE Bike & Car Show held in the parking lot of the Pensacola Beach Visitor Information Center. ABATE stands for American Bikers Aimed Toward Education, and this was their 13th annual car and bike show on Pensacola Beach.
