Thanks to the anonymous holiday fecal donors

This holiday season I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the anonymous donors who have so generously given over the years. It saddens me to announce that the giving must now stop. I was notified by the health department that I do not possess the proper permits to continue accepting your many, many generous donations of animal feces in my yard.

I'm sure you can imagine my delight as I find seemingly never-ending donations day after day after day. I'm especially fond of those times when my children's shoes or the newspaper find the donations that have missed. Oh, what memories.

I have been hoping to find all of the generous souls to "thank" personally, but I can understand their desire for anonymity. What pride they must feel with every donation. It would be so easy to just scoop it up and take it with them, but they are kind enough to help a family in need, one without any pets of their own.

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who helped make the 2007 "It's A Wonderful Life in Gulf Breeze" Holiday Parade a success!

A special thank you to Dr. Jim Martin for your leadership and to all of you who served on the committee for your dedication and commitment. Every committee member contributed- thankyou!

Thanks to our judges: Mayor Gilchrist, Father James, Ed Gray, the City of Gulf Breeze, Cherry Fitch, our Grand Marshall, the GB Police Dept., GB Fire Dept. and many volunteers. Thank-you to all of our volunteers who directed traffic and lined the parade route keeping it moving and safe for all.

Thanks to Breeze Promotions for donating our beautiful new banner. Thanks to Plastic Engraving for donating the magnetic signs and beautiful award ribbons. Thank-you to Gulf Breeze News for their media support. Thank-you to the sponsors of the Holiday party and all those who volunteered: Peoples First Community Bank (Donna Cooper) , PODS (Curt Morse), Boogie, Inc., (Ashley), Breeze Promotions (Jeff and Melanie), Coca- Cola and Livendco, Inc. for beverage and candy donations, Gulf Breeze Chamber volunteers, Board members and staff. Thanks to the spouses and significant others who joined in and volunteered their time, too - especially Richard Cooper who grilled 880 hot dogs!

A very, very special thanks to everyone who helped clean-up after the parade. It was truly a dirty job but together, we got it done! Thank-you for truly giving of yourselves, your spirit, your sweat , your smiles and your time for the betterment and beauty of our home town.

If I missed someone please forgive me, every person who played a part- be it large or small helped make the parade a success. It's a Wonderful Life in Gulf Breeze!

Happy Holidays! Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa knows we've all been very good this year!
