KIMBAL THELMA SMITH 1912 - 2007

Kimbal Thelma Smith, 95, passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007.

Kimbal was a native of Liberty City, Ala, born Aug. 20, 1912. Kimbal resided in Liberty City up until 1990, when her son brought her to live in Gulf Breeze.

Kimbal was a devout Baptist attending Salem Baptist Church of Liberty City and then the First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze. Kimbal made many good friendships during her years in Gulf Breeze, as she had back in Liberty City.

Kimbal was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Foy; her parents, James Robert and Annie Lee Stough; her brothers, Roy and Hershel Stough; and sister, Doris Parker.

Survivors include her sons, William Foy Jr. and Robert Gilford Smith; grandchildren, Cindy Pendeleton, Clayton and Clint Smith; her greatgrandchildren, Kelli and Courtney Britt, Lyndsey, Joshua and Madison Smith; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 at the Salem Baptist Church, hwy 14, Liberty City, Ala and a church service immediately followed. The Rev. Clayton Smith, grandson, officiated.
