Supper with Santa is at St. Ann Discovery

St. Ann Discovery School invites residents to come enjoy a spaghetti dinner, photos, and fun with Santa on Friday, Dec. 7. Santa will be available beginning at 4:30 p.m. for photos, dinner will be served at 6 p.m., entertainment, including stories and a sing-a-long, will begin at 7 p.m. Dinner tickets are $6 per adult and $4 per child - tickets are available in the school office and at the event. Professional photos will be available by Model Marketing for packages beginning at $15 with a free 4 by 6 inch photo with each package purchase. Individual and additional photos will also be available.

Proceeds benefit building a new playground to replace the current one which served children for over 20 years. Contact the School Office at 850-932- 9330 for more information. On Sunday, Dec. 9, Naomi's Table will gather in the sanctuary at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church's Main Campus, located at 75 Fairpoint Drive, for a Service of Remembrance. The service will begin at 3:30 p.m., followed by a reception in the music suite for all who attend. For more information, call Gail at 850-932-3594. First Baptist ballet raises funds for India

Join First Baptist of Gulf Breeze in worship Saturday Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. In HIS Steps Christian Dance Studio and Performing Arts Center will be presenting their third annual original Christmas ballet entitled "Silent Night."

The dancers will bring the story of Jesus' birth to life in a new way.

This year's performance will be dedicated to the underprivileged children in India. Church members are asking for anyone that would like to support this project to bring a back pack and a $10 donation to the performance.

In HIS Steps partnered with Net India to collect backpacks to support the Christmas in a Backpack fundraiser. The $10 will be used once the backpacks reach India to fill them with items of necessity. The choir of Saint Paul United Methodist Church will present their annual Christmas musical program for the Gulf Breeze- Navarre community on Friday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m., with additional performances on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m.

This year's program, "There is Peace in the World Tonight," features a choir and dramatic cast of over 40 persons proclaiming the timeless and relevant message that - despite the hectic and conflictridden world we live in - the Christmas promise of peace on earth still holds true for us today.

Saint Paul United Methodist Church is located at 4901 Gulf Breeze Parkway, approximately three miles east of the Wal-Mart supercenter in Gulf Breeze. Admission is free, and all are invited to take a break from the busyness and stress of holiday shopping and activities to attend.

Gulf Coast Kid's House volunteers are preparing for the annual Children's Christmas Party. This event brings holiday joy to child victims of abuse and or neglect as well as to their non-offending family members. The organization currently has a need for volunteers to sponsor gifts for these needy children.
