Tiger Point celebrates progress
The administration of Tiger Point Golf Club had a progress party to show members and the public the renovations and additions to the club house, which has been closed since Hurricane Ivan damaged it in 2004. About 60 people attended the party, which was November 3.
The pilings are for the covered pavilion that will accommodate seating for 120 people and a new pro shop, Aaron Williams, club manager, said.
"We will be able to host 250-plus for receptions and private parties," Williams said.
Work is expected to be completed in tie for a March 1, 2008 opening.
