Skislak sisters seasons end in tourney

The sibling duo of Corie (GBHS c/o '04) and Caitlin (c/o '06) Skislak helped Mount Olive College finish the season at 17-15.

MOC almost forced a game five on Anderson College but fourth-seeded Anderson (MOC was fifth) would win 30-21, 28- 30, 34-32, 31-29 in the Conference Carolinas Tournament on Nov. 7.

The older Skislak registered a kill on game point to even the match at a game apiece.

Corie Skislak had 200 kills this season and was among the conference's best in hitting percentage. She also second on the team in blocks with 51

Caitlin played in 30 of MOC's 32 matches, registering 104 digs.

Kristi Lee (c/o '07) and her S o u tAlabam finished their season at 9- 8-3 on Nov. 7 as they lost to Western Kentucky in Sun Belt Conference Tournament, which they hosted.

Lee started every match for the Lady Jags, registering two assists on the season. She also helped USA finish fourth in the conference in goals allowed and goals against average.

Mackensie Jimison (c/o '04) led Spring Hill College's golf team to a fifth place finish at the University of Mobile's Fall Classic.

Jimison shot a 78 (only two shots from the tournament's best opening round) on Nov. 5 and followed that up with an 83 the next day.

Carroll Papajohn (c/o '06) caught two passes for 21 yards in Dartmouth's 56-35 loss at Brown Nov. 10.

Doug Baldwin (c/o '07) had two rushes for three yards and four kickoffs totalling 106 yards in Stanford's 33-17 loss at Washington State on Nov. 10.

Baldwin's longest return of 42 yards set up the Cardinal's first score, one that put Stanford within 13-7 in the third quarter.
