'77 Dolphin football team wins inaugural Optimist Bowl

      The 1977 Dolphin football team won the inaugural Optimist Bowl, beating Jay 46-22. Donnie Brown was 11-for-13 passing for 228 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for a fourth score. Tim Koontz caught a 30-yard touchdown pass and ran for two others.
