Deputies search for stolen boat

Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office deputies are asking local residents to be on the lookout for a boat stolen in Northern Santa Rosa County last week.

On Nov. 11, employees at Blackwater Sport Boats reported a white 2004 Allison XB2003 bass fishing boat equipped with a 225 horsepower Mercury motor stolen from their sales lot in Jay. Also reported missing was a blue Boatmaster trailer with an expired Florida tag with the license number G50PHU.

Witnesses reported that suspects in a white sport utility vehicle hooked up to the trailer and left westbound on Highway 4 at a high rate of speed.
