Trane Corporation hosts seminar Dec. 5 at Pensacola Civic Center

Trane Corporation is hosting a seminar on its Trane Earthwise Systems on December 5 in Pensacola.

This live seminar will provide the latest in systems designs that provide not only the "Sustainability characteristics of High Efficiency/Low Emissions Products, Systems & Services," but also have the ability to reduce both initial cost as well as operating expenses while enhancing comfort, acoustics and indoor air quality.

Eugene "Smitty" Smithart, director of Trane Systems and Solutions, will be the featured speaker. He has over 30 years of industry experience, 29 of which were with Trane and four years with Danfos Turbocor, a manufacturer of oil-free compressors. He is well known in the HVAC industry, having published numerous industry articles and having key involvement in a number of industry changing initiatives. Smithart is a recipient of the U.S. EPA Climate Protection award, one of only five ever presented.

The Trane Earthwise Systems seminar is for anyone expected to design systems that conform to "Documented Sustainability," which is the key definition of U.S. EPA's "Responsible Use" policy, or to understand ASHRAE's focus on Sustainability or to gain knowledge of how these concepts can be used to obtain the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED program points.

The seminar will be held at the Pensacola Civic Center, 201 E. Gregory Street, Wednesday, Dec. 5 with registration and breakfast from 7:30 to 8 a.m. and the seminar from 8 to 10:30 a.m.
