SHIRLEY BARTLETT FLEMING

Shirley Bartlett Fleming, 77, of Gulf Breeze died Wednesday, October 31, 2007.

Mrs. Fleming was the daughter of the late William Ernest Bartlett Sr. and the late Myrtie Treadway Bartlett Langford of Columbus, Ga. She was a graduate of the University of South Florida, Tampa, and was an outstanding elementary school teacher for 30 years.

Mrs. Fleming was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, F. Douglas Fleming Sr.

She is survived by her daughter, Norma Fleming Murray and her husband, Dr. Patrick E. Murray, who cared for her in their home until her death; her son, F. Douglas Fleming Jr., and his wife, Pam; her two other daughters, Mary Fleming Wynne and her husband Mike, and Shirley Fleming Moore and her husband, Chuck; her brother, Col (USA Ret) William E. Bartlett Jr., and his wife, Sarah; sisterin law, Joyce Fleming McKibben; and Evelyn Phillips.

Graveside services were November 6 at Parkhill Cemetery.
