Veteran's Day parade is Sunday

A Pensacola Beach tradition, the Veteran's Day parade, is scheduled Sunday afternoon on Pensacola Beach. The parade begins at 1 p.m. on Avenida 10 then travels west to Sidelines Restaurant where it turns left and ends at the Gulfside Pavilion. For details, call 850-932-1500.

Saturday, Nov. 24: Season Lights Up Islandwide at 7 p.m. - Santa Rosa Island twinkles with holiday lights. Businesses and residents will add a dash of Island Spirit with festive decorations.

Saturday, Dec. 1: Passport to Santa's Island Kick Off - Children's Coloring Contest & Passport to Santa's Island kick off!

Season your holidays with Island Spirit! Island-wide Merry Merchants Shopping Celebration starts at 9 a.m.

Sunday, Dec. 2: Santa's Paparazzi Photo Session - Hilton Gulfside Pensacola Beach is host to Santa and his Paparazzi Photo Session from 2-4pm.

Tuesday, Dec. 4: Joy for the Beach! - at the Beach Community Church, beginning at 7p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 8: Kowabunga Breakfast at Surf Burger - Kowabunga Breakfast with Surfing Santa at the Surf Burger from 8- 10:30am.

Saturday, Dec. 15 Lighted Boat Parade at 5 p.m. from Pensacola Beach Marina to Boardwalk. The sparkling spectacle of decorated vessels parading against a dark December sky delights those watching from the shore or a waterfront beach business. Children are given light sticks to illuminate the beach behind Portofino Boardwalk. Dozens of captains compete prizes as the nautical parade delivers Santa Claus officially to the Island.

Sunday, Dec. 16 Pensacola Beach Christmas Parade - Annual Christmas Parade along Via de Luna starts at 2 p.m. Free.
