"It's a Wonderful Life in Gulf Breeze" is the theme of this year's Holiday Parade, sponsored by the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce. The parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m.

"This year, we want to emphasize that this is a local, family event and we hope the whole community will participate from all ages and walks of life," said Dr. Jim Martin, Gulf Breeze Chamber Board member and Chairman of the 2007 Holiday Parade Committee..

The route will begin on Shoreline Drive behind Gulf Breeze High School and continue past City Hall, the Rec Center and on until it turns right on McLain Drive, ending the route.

The parade is open to the whole community, chamber members and non-members and the entrance fee is $25 for businesses and $10 for non-profit organizations. For details, or to register for the parade, visit www.gulfbreezechamber.com or call 932-or call (850) 932- 7888.

Each entry must be decorated, and businesses are needed to donate convertibles, truck or flatbed for dignitaries or nonprofit organizations.

The parade is so much more than just a parade - it is a community holiday party with hot dogs, hot chocolate, holiday music and a visit from Santa Claus all planned after the parade in the Gulf Breeze High School parking lot.
