Car burglarized at Tiger Point Park
      Acar was burglarized recently at Tiger Point Park while its owner was exercising nearby. According to a sheriff's office report, a black 2004 Nissan Armada was broken into on Oct. 14 sometime between 6:40 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. A woman's purse was stolen from the passenger seat of the vehicle.

Grass roots efforts total nearly $450,000
      Reports continue to pour in about ongoing zoo fundraisers and acts of support, and the consensus is that the community has definitely displayed its support for their local zoo.
