Jason Thompson/Gulf Breeze News With a win Tuesday over Washington, (from left) Jasmine Crowell, Robyn Davidson, Tristan Powers (1) and the rest of the Lady Dolphins will play for the district championship tonight at 7 p.m.
The Gulf Breeze Lady Dolphin volleyball team hopes to still be playing this season by the time they read this.

If they are, that means the Lady Dolphins will have already clinched a playoff spot and are playing in tonight's District 1- 4A championship match, most likely against Navarre.

Gulf Breeze, the number two seed in the six-team tournament, played in the semifinals Tuesday, most likely against Washington. Chances are they played that match without two of their starters (Lacie Brothers and Tobie Bass, both of whom have injured ankles.

Gulf Breeze (12-6) is looking to reverse their late season swoon, where they lost two matches last week, winning only one game in the process.
