Arnold wins battle of marine mascots
Dolphins still control playoff destiny despite 31-17 loss to Marlins

      Coach Chris Nemith felt like his team was prepared and felt good about their chances before their District 1-3A clash with Arnold Friday. He was anything but good afterwards as the Marlins hit the Dolphins on three big scoring plays to beat the Dolphins 31- 17 at Dolphin Stadium.

GBHS sends 12 to swimming regionals

      The Gulf Breeze Lady Dolphin volleyball team hopes to still be playing this season by the time they read this. If they are, that means the Lady Dolphins will have already clinched a playoff spot and are playing in tonight's District 1- 4A championship match, most likely against Navarre.

Girls cross country third, boys fourth at Wildcat Invitational

      The Gulf Breeze girls cross country team took third and the boys fourth at the Wildcat Invitational Oct. 16 in Pace. Gulf Breeze finished with 85 points, which was bettered by only Murphy, out of Mobile (59) and Pine Forest (73). A total of 11 full teams competed in the meet.

'72 Dolphins get first win
