Naval museum comes alive for Halloween celebration The blockbuster hit "A Night at the Museum" left audiences wishing they could step back inside history and meet those that have played a role in our past. On Oct. 27, the National Museum of Naval Aviation will give visitors just that with "History. It's Alive!" This Saturday the National Museum of Naval Aviation is offering the opportunity to experience hands on history at this fun-filled, family-friendly Halloween event loosely based on the box office hit. Kids of all ages are invited from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. as exhibits come to life with a cast of characters handing out treats. Costumed children can watch a free IMAX® movie when accompanied by a paying adult and the motion-based simulator will include a special Halloween ride. Kids also receive a free motion-based simulator ride with paying adult (limit two free child tickets per each paying adult). Scooby Doo will make his annual appearance and games and activities will provide entertainment for the entire family. In addition, one lucky costumed visitor will win an All-Access Museum Pass for a family of four including tickets to the IMAX® Theatre, a gift certificate to the Flight Deck Museum Store.
