Lee Tracy offers fabulous fall fashions

Lee Tracy owners Lee and Mike McLaughlin have set very high goals for their store on Portofino Boardwalk on Pensacola Beach - they not only want to offer the best lines and designers they want to be every woman's favorite store!

"It truly is our mission statement," Lee says with a characteristic smile, "we have years of successful retail experience and we want to offer something fabulous for everyone."

The McLaughlins have been dressing the generations since 1978, and Lee Tracy will celebrate its 30-year anniversary in March 2008. "We can dress mom, Grandma, teen daughters and granddaughters ... and then there's the men! We have as many great lines for men as we have for women in Lee Tracy!" McLaughlin says.

Male shoppers are delighted to find Costa del Mar eyewear, Tori Richard, Royal Robbins, Guy Harvey, Bobby Chan, Aftco, Nautica accessories and much more to

Lee Tracy is more than just a store, too as it has been built around a culture of customer service and smiling faces, staffed with professional associates who are more than willing to go above and beyond. "We can dress most everyone from head to toe, hat to shoes and everything in between for casual to dressy occasions," McLaughlin reminds. "It is not uncommon for a customer to find every item they need to complete an outfit so the convenience of our close proximity is extended by the convenience of one-stop shopping!"

Lee Tracy is family owned and operated and came to Pensacola after years of success in Mississippi where Mike, Lee and Katie owned and operated four stores for 11 years in Grand Casino Hotels until Katrina eliminated them. Veteran employee Brandi Trussell manages Lee Tracy with 10 years of success from the company stores in Mississippi.

"We chose Pensacola as our new place of business and home when we saw the void in the Pensacola market.

Fall boots and sweaters and glamourous holiday attire in gold, animal print and silver all await at Lee Tracy.
"We brought our best staff - we watched Brandi grow up in Lee Tracy," McLaughlin says. "She does a great job and really knows how to keep an eye out for the best items for our customers. It is not unusual for a repeat customer to come in and we already have suggestions for her from the floor - we get to know our customers and we mentally shop for them while we wait for them to come back in!"

McLaughlin began her retail career at 19 in Jackson, Natchez and Gautier Mississippi as Connie Shoes and took that experience and added apparel and other accessories to form Lee Tracy.

"I love great clothes, and I strive to stay on top of the hottest market trends, constantly seeking fresh lines that are not seen in department or chain stores," McLaughlin assures. "We are eternally grateful to the Pensacola, Gulf Breeze area for their warm welcome and loyal patronage and to the Good Lord above for showering us with blessings here. 'Prosper the work of our hands Oh Lord!' remains our daily prayer...and He does," Lee shares with a bright grin.
