GBHS swim teams second at County Championships

Jason Thompson/Gulf Breeze News Koren Schroeder and Ross Gunn were the high point scorers at Saturday's Santa Rosa County Swim Championships.

The Gulf Breeze swim teams took second at the second annual Santa Rosa County Championships Saturday at The Club. Navarre won both division, while Pace and Milton were third and fourth, respectively in both divisions.

The girls team, swimming without senior Aileen Atzhorn, who was on a recruiting trip, finished with 173 points. Navarre had 205 points, while Pace had 89 and Milton 27.

Navarre's boys finished with 192, followed by the Dolphins (134), Pace (96) and Milton (62).
