Katie Taylor Cronin has been a Pensacola Beach resident and businesswoman for about 3 years. She is a woman who loves to stay busy supporting her family and her community and is very instrumental in running two businesses as well!
She and her husband Jason Cronin own Cronin Construction, Inc. which specializes in mulching, demolition, fire breaks and grinding and has recently become a 8(a) Company. Not only can she handle the tough stuff, this lady also owns Beaches Tanning Salon where every woman's beauty is enhanced from head to toe.
"This has been a fun venture," she says, "because I love clothes, shoes, jewelry, handbags and tanning just like many girls."
And Cronin makes sure that the Beaches Tanning environment is comfortable for men and women.
"We offer state of the art beds, and our bulbs are changed regularly," she assures. Salon standards of cleanliness are the top priority, and they have surpassed health code standards. "We work to be spotless," she says with a proud smile, "and we offer a fabulous boutique as a real bonus...- tan with us and we will gift wrap any boutique purchase for you!"
Katie and Jason Cronin have been married for 12 years and have three children, Megan, Patrick and Macy Claire. The children attend Pensacola Beach Elementary School where Katie was named Volunteer of the Year for the school. She also serves as PTA Vice-President, chairs the Fundraising Committee and Fall Festival Committee and serves as Yearbook coordinator.
"Gulf Breeze is such a homey place, I have never felt more at home than I do in this area," Cronin praises. "I moved from Clinton, Mississippi where most of our family resides but this is home."
