      "Resident Evil: Extinction" Running Time: 95 minutes MPAA rating: R First, let's get this out of the way for the "R.E." fans out there: "Extinction" isn't as good as the original, but it's a ton better than "Apocalypse." Also: Return of the Zombie Dogs! (Yesss!) Definitely check it out.

Concert at Naval Live Oaks park
      On Saturday, Oct. 20, Gulf Islands National Seashore will present a free Soundside Serenade concert from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Naval Live Oaks picnic area.
