Fourth quarter score the difference in 28-21 win

      A favorite saying among coaches that play in the NCAA Basketball Tournament is 'survive and advance.' The Gulf Breeze Dolphins did exactly that Friday, getting a touchdown with seven minutes left in the game to beat West Florida High 28-21 on Homecoming Night Friday at Dolphin Stadium.

      Doug Baldwin didn't make a catch for the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday, but chances are, he'll remember that game for a long time. Baldwin, a 2007 GBHS grad who's caught six passes this season, has played in all five games this season, including Stanford's 24-23 upset of second-ranked USC.

McKie gives '97 team 38-35 four overtime win

      The 1997 Dolphins got a oneyard run by current Chicago Bears fullback Jason McKie to win a 38-35, four overtime marathon against Escambia this week 10 years ago. McKie scored twice in the game, including a 71-yarder in the first quarter.
