EARL C. MORRIS 1931 - 2007

Earl Morris quietly passed away, Thursday, September 13, 2007. Earl was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Betty. Earl is survived by his loving daughter Kathy of Gulf Breeze. Sisters Pat Cothron of Port St. Lucie, Lee Porter, of Atlanta, GA, Frances (Bill) Frost of Lady Lakes, FL. Earl also leaves behind many devoted nieces, nephews, and loving friend Sarah Hombroek. He was the best dad a girl could have, and the greatest brother any sister could ever have. Earl proudly served 22 years in the United States Army rising to the rank of Master Sergeant before retiring and coming to Gulf Breeze, Florida 30 years ago. In that time while in Gulf Breeze he touched many lives with his quiet generosity. Funeral services were held Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 2:00pm. The family received friends from 1:00 to 2:00 with military honors, to follow. Internment will be at a later date in Barrancas National Cemetery. Rose Lawn Funeral Home, of Gulf Breeze is entrusted with the arrangements.
