St. Ann hosts health fair

St. Ann Catholic Church is hosting a health fair Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church's Family Life Center.

The fair will feature Healthy Start for kids, a nutrition display, flu shots, arthritis information, stroke evaluation, osteoporosis screening, and weight-loss surgery information.

St. Ann Catholic Church is located at 100 Daniel Drive in Gulf Breeze.

Seekers luncheon at St. Paul UMC

St. Paul United Methodist Church, located at 4901Gulf Breeze Parkway, will feature a Seekers luncheon on Oct. 15. The luncheon is $4.

The group is a senior adult ministry which holds monthly planning sessions and participates in many volunteer opportunities.

GBUMC announces programs for October

The Gulf Breeze United Methodist Women will have a silent retreat for Women on Saturday, Oct. 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gulf Breeze United Church main campus, located at 75 Fairpoint Drive in Gulf Breeze.

This is a time apart, a time to reflect, a time to hear from God, a time of rest. Labyrinth, art room, short devotions, welcoming spaces, journals, comforting food, and more will be provided. To RSVP, call 850-932-3594.

A morning Bible study for women will begin Wednesday, Oct. 17, or Thursday, Oct. 18 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the education wing of the Main Campus. The cost of the workbook for this 7-week study - "Discovering the Voice of God: How to Recognize When God Speaks" - is $13.

"Serving God and Serving Others: Heart and Attitude Class (Serving 101)" will begin Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Community Life Center room 2218, located at the intersection of Soundside Drive at Highway 98. room 2218. The Main Campus class will begin Tuesday, Nov. 13.

The Women's Prayer and Praise Group meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month at the Community Life Center from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Mommie and Me at Risen Savior Lutheran

Mommy and Me, a support group for stay-at-home mothers and their young children, will help kids carve pumpkins at 9 a.m. on Oct. 26.

The group meets monthly at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, located at 9664 Navarre Parkway in Navarre.
