THINGS TO DO
"Duane Hanson: Real Life" is an exhibition of startlingly lifelike, mixed-media sculptures of everyday people by the famed international realist sculptor Duane Hanson (1925-1996), each work is paired with photographic studies of the pieces. Upon encountering one of these extraordinarily realistic sculptures, the typical reaction of a museum visitor unfamiliar with Hanson's work can be among the most interesting and amusing events one might experience in a museum or gallery setting.
