JV gets first win

A pair of second quarter touchdowns propelled the Dolphin junior varsity football team to their first win of the season, 14-6 over Catholic Thursday at Dolphin Stadium.
Nicky Schumacher scored on a 43-yard run, while Mario Villegas scored from 14 yards out. Danny Gibble made both extra points.
Michael Schmitz forced a fumble that was recovered by Casey Moore. Casey Meredith had an interception, while Pantelis Peterson blocked an extra point.
Ben Lively was the Dolphin quarterback for the first and third quarters, while Thomas Dorsey was the quarterback in the second and fourth quarters.

The Tigers scored in the first two and a half minutes and rolled past Gulf Breeze.
PHS led 13-0 and were looking for more, but Tyler Miller broke up a pass in the end zone and Blake Cannon intercepted a Tiger pass on the next play at the eight-yard line.
John Bayer recovered a fumble on a punt return in the second quarter.
The Tigers were up 19-0 when Eric Adams scored on a 60-yard run with 3:01 left in the third quarter.
