      You'll have to excuse the Dolphin football team and cheerleaders, many of whom are in their first varsity season. Several times during the playing of the alma mater, players and cheerleaders bellowed out 'Gulf Breeze High!' at the wrong time - several times.

Lady Dolphins crush Washington
GBHS to host district tournament, could be top seed with win at Navarre Tuesday

      The Gulf Breeze Lady Dolphin volleyball team showed their season opening win over Washington - their first in their previous four meetings - was no fluke as they traveled to Pensacola Sept. 25 and hammered the Lady Cats 25-12, 25-22, 25-17.

Girls golf wins FCA tourney again

      For the second straight year, the Gulf Breeze Lady Dolphin golf team won the 14th annual Fellowship of Christian Athletes Tournament Sept. 24 at A.C. Read. Gulf Breeze won with a score of 330. Niceville was second (351), followed by Pace (358), Ft. Walton (368) and Catholic (370).

      Dolphin Volleyball and Innerlight host Rec Night Tonight Innerlight Surf and Sport is sponsoring Rec Volleyball Night tonight when GBHS hosts Milton High School. Volleyball players and coaches wearing their Gulf Breeze Rec League jerseys will be admitted free of charge to tonight's game.

      A pair of second quarter touchdowns propelled the Dolphin junior varsity football team to their first win of the season, 14-6 over Catholic Thursday at Dolphin Stadium. Nicky Schumacher scored on a 43-yard run, while Mario Villegas scored from 14 yards out. Danny Gibble made both extra points.
