Paint Santa Rosa Contest adds a third 'Paint Out' location

Paint Santa Rosa is adding the third outdoor location. The Zoo of Northwest Florida, located at 5701 Gulf Breeze Parkway, is scheduled for a "Paint Out" Saturday, Oct. 6.

Artists in the Northwest Florida area are invited paint from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the zoo grounds. The public is invited to come to the zoo and watch the artists on site. The Zoo has a special admission price of only $5 that day.

The "Paint Santa Rosa" events have been and are open to all plein air artists in the panhandle area. Those artists who reside in Santa Rosa County or are members of the Greater Navarre Beach Arts Association may enter their paintings in the Paint Santa Rosa contest and have them displayed at the Navarre Beach Fall Festival of the Arts on Oct. 12, 13 and 14.

Entry forms for the contest are available at: www.gnbaa.org or at the registration table at the paint out.

The "Paint Santa Rosa" Contest is supported by the Santa Rosa Tourist Development Council (TDC) and their donation will provide prizes at the Arts Festival for contest winners. Following the Navarre Beach Fall Festival of the Arts, painting contest winners will be on display in the new TDC Building offices at Navarre Park and at the Dragonfly Gallery in Milton.
