Gulf Breeze grad Hayes conference leader in assists

Jaime Hayes is making the most of her opportunity as a first year starter at St. Andrews Presbyterian College.

A2006 Gulf Breeze grad, Hayes is the Conference Carolinas leader in assists (232) and assists per game (10.55).

In a five match conference play stretch, Hayes averaged 37 assists and 12 digs a match. St. Andrews went 3-2 in that stretch.

Mount Olive's Corie Skislak (c/o '04) is sixth in conference play in blocks with 16.

Skislak had a pair of blocks and a kill late in game five to lead Mount Olive to a five-game win over Lees- McRae Saturday.

Skislak finished with a season-high 12 kills and four blocks. In three consecutive conference wins between Sept. 11-15, Corie averaged seven kills and four blocks a match, while younger sister Caitlin (c/o '06) averaged four digs a match.

Keith Savage (c/o '03) had a goal and an assist in UWF's 5-2 win over Concordia College Sept. 15. Savage has 98 career points, which is tied for third on the school's all-time list.

Brandi Adams (c/o '03) had two assists in UWF's 6-0 win at Barry University on Sunday.

Tyler Lake (c/o '04) had three rushes for seven yards and caught one pass for three yards in Rhodes College's 42-0 loss at Millsaps College Saturday.
