Seniors seminar on retirement
FROM STAFF REPORTS Gulf Breeze News news@gulfbreezenews.com

Knowing your financial options as retirement nears can help with managing expenses and maintaining quality of life. To support senior independence and improve quality of life, Baptist GoldenCare's senior membership program is offering educational seminars on reverse mortgages, a financial option that seniors are utilizing to continue financial security into retirement.

A reverse mortgage is a loan that enables a "senior" homeowner, 62 or older, to convert part of the equity in their home to tax-free income without giving up the title or taking on a monthly payment.

To promote independence and improve quality of life for seniors, Baptist GoldenCare will host two seminars focused on reverse mortgages.

Denise M. Kinnear with Family First Mortgage Corporation will present Oct. 3, beginning at 11:30 a.m., at Baptist Medical Park Pensacola, 9400 University Parkway.

Malcolm Klauss with Standard Mortgage Corporation will present Oct.5, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Baptist Medical Park Navarre, 8888 Navarre Parkway.

Reservations are required. For more information or to RSVP, call 850-469-7897.
