It was deja vu recently for several former Dolphins and Lady Dolphin athletes.

On Sept. 6, Rhodes College senior Tyler Lake (GBHS class of '04) scored two touchdowns and finished with 98 yards in total offense in a 28-21 win over Aaron Hill (c/o '06) and LaGrange College.

Lake then caught a 13-yard pass and finished with 59 yards of total offense in Rhodes' 10- 7 win over Birmingham Southern. Cody Sharp (c/o '07) is a member of the BSC team, but didn't play Saturday.

On Sept. 5, Jaime Hayes (c/o '06) and her St. Andrews College volleyball won a hard fought four-game match against Mount Olive College, which includes Corie (c/o '04) and Caitlin Skislak (c/o '06). Hayes had a career-high 53 assists and 14 digs in the win, while the older Skislak had six kills and three digs. The younger Skislak had 10 digs.

Carroll Papajohn (c/o '06) caught a three-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter of Dartmouth's 31-28 overtime loss to Colgate Saturday.

Doug Baldwin (c/o '07) caught two passes and had two punt returns for Stanford in their 37-0 win over San Jose State Saturday. Baldwin, who caught a pass for six yards in the Cardinal's season-opening loss to UCLA, caught two passes for 16 yards against SJSU and had two punt returns for 16 yards.

His first catch, for 11 yards, set up the game's first points, a 52-yard field goal.

Van Camp (NHS c/o '06) saw his first collegiate action for Florida Atlantic University against Oklahoma State.

Van Camp played late in the Owls' 42-7 loss to Oklahoma State, getting sacked once and throwing an incompletion.

Kate Begley, a Gulf Breeze resident and a senior at the University of Central Florida, scored her first goal of the season in a 3-0 win over U.C. Davis Sept. 9.

Kristi Lee (c/o '07) recorded her first collegiate points for the University of South Alabama on Sept. 1. Lee had two assists in the Lady Jags' 4- 1 win over Prairie View.

UWF senior Keith Savage (c/o '03) scored a goal for the 17th-ranked Argos in a 4-0 win over Eckerd College Friday.

Evan Brown (c/o '05) played 70 out of 90 minutes for Eckerd. Savage also had an assist in 4-0 win over Tampa on Aug. 31, another in UWF's 2-1 win over Saint Leo on Sept. 2 and another in UWF's 3-2 win over Florida Southern on Sept. 9. Savage is three points away from tying Stephen Simmons for third on the school's all-time points list.

Two former Lady Dolphin soccer players notched points to help UWF win two recent games. Brandi Adams (c/o '03) had an assist in the Lady Argos' 2-0 win over Florida Southern on Sept. 9, while

Kaley Morris (c/o '06) had the game-winning assist in UWF's 2-0 win over the University of Mobile Sept. 12. It was Morris' first point of the season and the second for Adams.

Zach Brothers (c/o '06) had two tackles for Huntingdon College in a 27-24 overtime loss to Maryville College on Saturday. He had three tackles in the Hawks' 34-3 loss to Wisconsin-Oshkosh Sept. 8.

Chelsey Adams (c/o '05) had a kill, a block and a dig for Nicholls State in a 3-0 loss to the University of New Orleans at the UNO Labor Day Classic Aug. 31. She then had a kill and a block for Nicholls State in a 3- 0 loss to the Delaware Sept. 1.
