Midway Fire District meetings:

Regular Fire Commission Meeting - Oct. 9, 7p.m., 1322 College Parkway Gulf Breeze. At this meeting, fire commissioners will discuss the final wording for a proposed referendum scheduled for Jan. 29, 2008.

Examples of New Service Fees:

Responding to minor vehicular accidents within the district - $500

Responding to serious vehicular accidents within the district - $2,000

Setting up a landing zone for medical air transport - $350

Burning without a permit, first offense, - $50; second offense - $100; third offense - $250
