Blue Midgets knock off defending champs
Mighty Mites also win, 14-13 in overtime; Tiger Point's home opener Saturday

Preston Sellers' one-yard run with 35.8 seconds left in the second quarter gave the GBSA Blue Midgets a 6-2 win over defending champion Albritton and Gant Saturday in Pensacola.
The touchdown was set up by a 37-yard pass from Landon Cagle to T.J. Baughn and a 20- yard run by Sellers.
Randy Halpin recovered a fumble late in the fourth quarter, which ended with Cagle running out the clock on a fourth down play, getting intentionally sacked in the end zone for a safety.
Sellers, Ryan Young, David Crowhurst and Cass Warford all had tackles for losses for the Blue Midgets (2-0)
Mighty Mites 14, Albritton and Gant 13 (OT)
Ben Petrovic made a gamewinning stop in overtime as the Mighty Mites improved to 2-0 with a win over A&G.
"Everyone played great,"coach Brian Reed said.

6, GBSA Blue 0 A first quarter touchdown run was the difference as the Rattlers edged Gulf Breeze (1-1).
Chris Smith recovered a fumble with 2:05 left in the game to give Gulf Breeze one last chance, but they turned the ball over on downs at the 49-yard line.

The Rattlers scored touchdowns on their first three touches to beat Gulf Breeze (1-1).
J.R. Schultz stopped an extra point try, while Cody King recovered a fumble.
GBSA White teams 3-0 at
East Milton
The White Mini Mites evened its record to 1-1 with a 30-0 win, while the White Mites and White Midgets both improved to 2-0 with a 20-6 and 13-6 wins, respectively.

All eight GBSA teams will host Cantonment Saturday, with the mighty mites starting the day's action at 8 a.m. The juniors game concludes play at 6 p.m.
Tiger Point, whose three teams were off last weekend, will host Northwest Escambia in their first ever home games on Saturday. The mini mites (1- 0) play at noon, followed by the mites (0-1) at 1:30 and the midgets (0-1) at 3 p.m.
