Attention Business and Community Members of Gulf Breeze: If you are approached by any company soliciting funds for Gulf Breeze High School athlet- ics, please demand verification of fundraiser by asking for the school authorization letter, which all authorized solicitors must possess to solicit for the school.

All men age 30 and over interested in playing recreational baseball, now is our time! The only time a field is available is Sunday evening at 7 p.m. The number of teams, length of season etc. will depend on how many people sign up.

Quarterback Club selling stadium seats

The hard back seats in front of the press box at Dolphin Stadium are now on sale to the general public for the 2007 football season.

Season seats are $50 without a gate pass and $80 with a gate pass. Please email shelley.mann@mchsi.com for payment information.

Proceeds support the football and cheerleading programs at GBHS.

Volunteers needed for 'chain gang'

The GBHS Quarterback Club is looking for three adults to run the chain gang during all the JV and ninth grade football games this season. Dates that volunteers are needed are today, Sept. 27, Oct. 11 and Nov. 1.

GBHS football 'coin flippers' needed

The GBHS Quarterback Club are looking for sponsors for the pregame coin flip before each of the five varsity games during the season.

For $100, sponsors get an announcement of their business in front of thousands of high school football fans. Dates available are Sept. 7, Sept. 14, Oct. 5, Oct. 19 and Nov. 9.

The GBHS Quarterback Club is looking for parents to work the concession stand during the five varsity football games this season. Dates volunteers are needed are Sept. 7, 14, Oct. 5, 19 and Nov. 9.

St. Ann's People 4 People 5K Run/Walk Sept. 8

Register now for the St. Ann People 4 People 5k Run/Walk September 8! The run, which supports Christian service activities of the parish, starts at 8 a.m. from the parking lot of St. Ann at 100 Daniel Drive, Gulf Breeze.

Five major award categories and several age categories can compete for awards, and all registered participants are treated to a pancake breakfast at the award ceremony immediately after the race.

Registration is $15 for early registration (ages 13 and up), $20 after September 6. Without the t-shirt, registration is $10.

You can pick up your bib number and t-shirt at the St. Ann Parish Hall on Friday Sept. 7 from 3 to 7 p.m. or 6:30 a.m. the day of the race. Free child care will be available at the church from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday if you make a reservation with your registration. Water stations and restrooms are part of the race, but please, no dogs.

Sarah Brown Memorial Golf Tournament Sept. 15 in Elberta

A golf tournament to fund the Sarah Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund is scheduled for Sept. 15 at the Woerner Preserve at Soldier's Creek in Elberta.
