Blue Morning hosts 'Strands'

Blue Morning Gallery is hosting its second annual all-day Jewelry Trunk Show, "Strands" from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8.

Featured will be pearls, crystals, hand blown glass, polymer clay designs, Bali silver, chains of silver and gold, and works containing unique imported beads.

Artists participating are Linda Devins, Donna Freckmann, Margret Hildreth, Glenda Jones, LeLarney Leonard, Marie McFetridge, Mara Viksnins Monique Webb, Tanya Evans, Tamara Prudhomme and Diane Keena.

During the day, there will be in-gallery jewelry modeling. Demonstrations and classes will be given during the day. At noon Jones will demonstrate polymer Clay and at 1 p.m. Viksnins will talk about pearls.

On-going functions during the day will include jewelry door prizes donated by the artists, modeling, refreshments and talks with the jewelers.

After the Saturday trunk show, the featured artists will have some jewelry on display through October 6.
