Get great food fast at Nellie's Deli
The owners are four brothers from Ohio who know a lot about good food. Jack Campbell, who runs the day-to-day operations, watched his grandmother "Nellie" create Italian comfort food, from pasta to pizza. He chose his career in the culinary field by completing culinary school at New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vt. Jack apprenticed in Germany, Italy, and worked in Las Vegas, Colorado and California. Campbell also worked four years in Salt Lake City as an assistant chef and catered for the cast and crew of the television series "Touched by an Angel." Now he is bringing all that experience and good food to the Gulf Breeze area. Nellie's has truly become a landmark for those who want real food, fast. It's a fast paced kitchen that makes sure you get a great meal at a reasonable price. The menu has over 30 sandwiches, homemade soups, a large variety of salads and fresh bread. The menu also sports fried green tomatoes, french fries and a kid's menu. If you want a taste of Northeastern style food this is the place. With inside or outside patio seating, there's something for everyone at Nellie's, your cozy and intimate neighborhood deli. Nellie's hours are: Monday - Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The deli is closed Sundays.
